The 1986 adidas Stratos SL were designed for elite football in late 1985, combining German craftsmanship and professional performance in a lightweight and sophisticated silhouette. Made from premium kangaroo leather, they offered an exceptional anatomical fit and extremely precise ball contact.
Their "Super Light" construction reduced weight without sacrificing stability or durability, incorporating a technical sole with interchangeable aluminum studs. Aesthetically, they stood out for their sober black design with the iconic three adidas stripes, reflecting the functional elegance of 1980s football.
Today they are considered a cult item among vintage boot collectors.
