In accordance with the provisions of Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users (LGDCU), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other applicable regulations, users of the website www.footballslegacy.es (hereinafter, "the Website") are informed of the following legal conditions.

The Website is not intended for minors under 18 years of age. Only individuals of legal age or emancipated minors with full legal capacity may enter into contracts. In the case of contracting by minors or persons with judicially modified capacity, responsibility shall fall on their legal representatives. FOOTBALLS LEGACY reserves the right to suspend or cancel any operation if a lack of capacity is detected, without any liability.

  • Activity: E-commerce platform specializing in the online and international sale of sports memorabilia (mainly football memorabilia, such as official balls, boots, match-worn jerseys, or vintage items), independent third-party authenticity certification services, "Legacy FC" VIP membership club, and, starting in 2027, specialized training content (Footballs Legacy Academy).

The Website operates from Spain and is primarily governed by Spanish and European legislation. It does not apply unjustified geoblocking (Regulation (EU) 2018/302). For sales outside the EU, the buyer assumes compliance with local import regulations, customs duties, and restrictions on cultural/collectible goods. FOOTBALLS LEGACY does not guarantee the legality of import into the destination country.

The Owner complies with all tax and administrative obligations required for the exercise of its activity, including registration in the Economic Activities Tax (IAE) and Social Security.

 

2. Purpose of the Website

The Website offers e-commerce services for the acquisition of unique sports memorabilia items, ancillary services such as certification and appraisal, subscription to a membership club, and access to training content. All users must be of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts. Access to and use of the Website implies full acceptance of this Legal Notice, as well as the General Terms and Conditions of Contract, Privacy Policy, and Cookies Policy available on the Website.

 

3. Terms of Use

  • Access and navigation: Access to the Website is free, except for restricted sections (e.g., membership club or Academy), which require registration and payment. The user undertakes to use the Website lawfully, without altering its content or interfering with its operation.

  • User registration: For purchases, subscriptions, or on-demand services, registration with truthful data is required. The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials.

5. Limitation of Liability

FOOTBALLS LEGACY is not responsible for:

  • Errors or interruptions in access to the Website due to external causes (e.g., technical failures, cyber attacks).

  • Damages arising from the improper use of the Website by the user.

  • Content of linked sites.

  • Loss of value, market fluctuations, or external events related to collectible items (see specific disclaimer below).

  • Impossibility of delivery due to customs, legal, or other restrictions in the destination country.

FOOTBALLS LEGACY limits its liability to the amount paid by the user, excluding indirect, consequential damages or lost profits, except in cases of fraud or gross negligence.

7. Terms and Conditions of Contract and Sales

Sales on the Website are governed by the General Terms and Conditions of Contract (link-to-conditions), which include details on prices, shipping, returns, and warranties. All transactions are considered valid electronic contracts in accordance with the LSSI-CE.

 

8. Specific Notice for Auctions and Sales of Collectible Items

FOOTBALLS LEGACY does not act as a regulated auction house or organize public auctions within the meaning of Law 7/1996, of January 15, on Retail Trade Regulation. Some items offered on the Website originate from unsuccessful auctions or purchases from external auction houses, in which case the corresponding origin and authenticity documentation is provided to validate the chain of custody.

  • Items are unique or limited edition, potentially with vintage or match-worn provenance. FOOTBALLS LEGACY guarantees their authenticity through independent third-party certificates (included in the price for items ≥€1,000; optional for lower-priced items), but does not issue its own certificates to avoid conflicts of interest.

  • No guarantee is offered for future appreciation, value maintenance, or profitability as an investment. The sports memorabilia market is volatile and subject to fluctuations due to external factors (e.g., death of players, changes in popularity, market trends). The user assumes all risks inherent in investing in collectibles, and it is expressly warned that these items do not constitute financial advice or products regulated by entities such as the CNMV.

  • FOOTBALLS LEGACY is not responsible for loss of value, deterioration due to improper conservation, or misuse after delivery.

  • For international sales, the buyer assumes tariffs, taxes, and local restrictions. Delivery is not guaranteed in countries with prohibitions on the import of collectibles.

  • In the case of items originating from auctions, original documentation is attached, but no responsibility is assumed for errors in previous auctions or chains of custody prior to acquisition by FOOTBALLS LEGACY.

This Legal Notice is governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Madrid, waiving any other jurisdiction, unless consumer regulations impose the user's domicile.
