The original Diadora Walter Zenga goalkeeper model was one of the most iconic boots of the late 80s and early 90s, developed for the legendary Italian goalkeeper Walter Zenga during his time at Inter and with the Italian national team.
The SG (Soft Ground) versions were made in Italy, specifically within the artisanal tradition of Montebelluna, a historic region for premium football footwear from Diadora. They stood out for their high-quality natural leather construction, padded reinforcements for striking, and an SG sole with interchangeable aluminum studs designed for soft ground and maximum traction.
The model was first released approximately between 1988 and 1989.
This is the model with which he would play in the Italy 90 World Cup.
Condition: New, unused, with tags, no defects in leather or the SG sole with seven interchangeable nylon studs. Original box with replacement key.
