Hand-painted acrylic portrait of Lamine Yamal on the UEFA Euro 2024 Final ball, the adidas Fussballliebe Finale.
The medium already carries its own historical weight: it's like the ball used in the final in Berlin. Over its silver, black, and gold design, a portrait of Yamal celebrating – open-mouthed, pure euphoria – in the red jersey of the Spanish national team is painted.
The figure occupies more than half of the visible surface, overflowing the ball's panels without breaking its curvature, which required considerable technical adaptation. The paint colors – red, yellow, and gold – directly interact with the official tournament graphics, making the intervention seem part of the object rather than an addition.
The UEFA EURO 2024 emblem and the three adidas stripes are integrated into the composition as elements of authenticity.
A piece that documents a moment: the summer when Yamal, at 17, won the Euro Cup and became part of football history.
