adidas Fevernova. FIFA Korea and Japan 02 World Cup
The adidas Fevernova was the official match ball of the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan, one of the most iconic editions of the tournament. Its design broke away from adidas’ traditional aesthetic, featuring gold, green and red geometric motifs inspired by the cultures of both host nations.
Constructed with a synthetic polyurethane outer cover and a 32-panel hand-stitched structure, it featured an innovative layer of syntactic foam and textile reinforcements that enhanced its stability, accuracy and responsiveness when struck.
It represented a significant technical and aesthetic advancement in the evolution of FIFA’s official match balls. More than two decades later, the Fevernova retains a prominent place in football history and sports memorabilia collecting.

The ball does not retain air, but maintains a weight of 428 grams and a circumference of 70 cm.
